FROM THE EDITOR

Welcome to the "Jobs Issue" of Alexander Magazine.  In addition to our usual advanced technical postings, we have a lot of news about training for employment in the field and launching your career.

You will see several postings in a new Distance Study category called "Placement."  As and Alexander Magazine subscriber you will shortly have Worldwide job placement assistance at no charge, for the life of your subscription.
Our technical postings this issue center around professional console operation and mixing techniques for recording engineering during national session.  Both the recording student and the home recordists should find the information helpful.
