In two short days you attend 8-9 hours of seminiars and sample sessions - normal program schedule is 1-3 months - regular price is $499.  You take a final examination that you have prepared for with your Alexander MagazineTM Study. RECORDING TECHNIQUES 1 CERTIFICATE

Over 4 1/2 short weeks you attend 10 classes of in-depth instruction in basic recording techniques as you master the use of an all-digital multitrack contol room.  16 additional contact/studio hours are available to you to work with another student and obtain hands-on mastery of the equipment while doing your own recording project.  Additional inexpensive lab packages are available to further enhance your educational experience with us.  With additional apprenticing, this program has trained people starting out in the field as second engineers, project engineers and live sound specialists - normal program schedule is 3 months - regular price is $999.  You take a pro audio specialist final examination that you have prepared for with your Alexander MagazineTM Study. Alexander MagazineTM subscription required.

Over 9 short weeks you attend 26 classes of in-depth instruction in basic recording, basic music production and basic music theory techniques as you master the use of two all-digital multitrack control rooms.  32 additional contact/studio hours are available to you to work with another student and obtain hands-on mastery of the equipment while doing your own recording project.  Additional inexpensive lab packages are available to further enhance your educational experience with us.  This program has trained people to immediately start out in the field as recording engineers for small studios, live sound specialists or as second engineers in ;larger recording studios - normal program schedule is 5  months - regular price is $2098.  You take a pro audio specialist final examination and recording techniques pre-final exam  that you have prepared for with your Alexander MagazineTM Study. Alexander MagazineTM subscription required.

ADDITIONAL QUIKSTUDY SCHEDULE CONTACT TIME PACKAGE

$99

Contact hours with the school are used for lab time for hands-on practice with the equipment or for one-on-one help with the student's theory understanding.  The Recording Techniques 1 Program comes with 16 contact hours and the Associate Recording Engineer comes with 32 contact hours at no additional charge.  Should the student desire additional contact time, it can be purchased in 8 hour blocks. (Maximum of one additional package for RT1 and two additional packages for ARE).
